OSHA ROOT
A high altitude plant of profound benefit. I only use osha in small quantities and harvest it carefully. A potent antiviral and antibacterial, osha helps with bronchial infections, colds, and flus. It is also used to treat viral infections, digestive issues, and can be applied to skin wounds to protect against infection. Because of its slight numbing effect, it can help ease toothaches and sore throats.
USNEA
This is one of the most powerful immune medicines to turn to when you have the first symptoms of cold or flu. Usnea has an affinity for the lungs and respiratory system and can effectively help to heal bronchitis, pneumonia, sinus infections, strep throat, colds and flus. Usnea is also highly beneficial for urinary tract, kidney infections and vaginal infections. She is also well known as a wound healer and helps to prevent infection. It can be made into a poultice to be applied directly on a wound.
